COFUND Programme
CEA-Enhanced Eurotalents is co-funded by the European Commission. It is a transnational mobility programme funded through the Marie Curie Actions of the European Union's 7th Framework Programme for research and technological development (FP7).
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) brings together all research-related EU initiatives; it preeceeded the ongoing Horizon 2020 programme. FP7 played a major role in the achievement of growth, competitiveness, and employment objectives. It also gathers the new Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP), education and training programs, and regional funds for competitiveness. It is a key instrument of the European Research Area (ERA).

Marie Curie Fellowships are European research grants available to researchers regardless of their nationality or field of research. In addition to generous research funding, scientists have the possibility to gain experience abroad and in the private sector, and to complete their training with competences or disciplines useful for their careers.
The Marie Curie Action COFUND scheme (Co-funding of Regional, National and international programmes) was launched in 2007 with the FP7. It aims at enhancing "life-long training and carrer development" of experienced researchers and at fostering a competitive selection of new and existing regional and national programs based on transnational mobility.

The recruitement and work conditions of the fellows are in line with the European Charter for researchers and with the Code of Conduct for the recruitment of researchers. Both documents were signed by CEA in 2007.
